Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract for Home Oxygen services to Apnea Care Inc. The contract is for a six-month period, from November 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, with two two-month option periods. The contract will provide Home Oxygen supplies and services to Veteran patients in the Albany, Bath, Canandaigua, Syracuse, and Western New York areas. The services include all materials, equipment, transportation, setup, labor, supervision, patient education, safety management, and infection control necessary for patients receiving home respiratory care therapy.
• The contract is a firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract.
• The total estimated value of the procurement is $6,213,003.33.
• The contract will serve as an interim contract action until a new long-term contract can be awarded.
• The services and supplies are currently being provided by Apnea Care Inc. via contract 36C24224D0038.
• The current contract will expire on October 31, 2025.
