Description
The VA is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive home‑oxygen therapy services throughout the VISN 2 Downstate region. This includes rental, delivery, set‑up, maintenance, and ongoing clinical support for stationary and portable oxygen concentrators, liquid‑oxygen systems, ventilators, Bi‑PAP devices, and related accessories. The contractor must also perform respiratory‑therapist visits, patient and caregiver education, emergency‑replacement services, and long‑term travel support, while meeting strict performance metrics and reporting requirements.
• Provide all‑inclusive equipment rentals (concentrators, liquid‑oxygen, ventilators, etc.) with setup, training, and backup systems.
• Deliver scheduled and emergency respiratory‑therapist visits, conduct regular equipment maintenance, and ensure 24/7 call‑center support with ≤4‑hour emergency response.
• Maintain Joint Commission accreditation (or monthly compliance reports), comply with HIPAA, submit monthly performance and customer‑satisfaction reports, and adhere to VA‑specified invoicing and billing standards.
