Description
The Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking to procure a British Pendulum Charpy V-Notch Tester. The machine must meet the requirements of ASTM E23 and have a rated potential energy of at least 325 Joules. The tester should also have a digital display, applicable software, and a computer to support the digital system. The machine must be capable of testing full and sub-size Charpy specimens and meet standards for non-ambient specimen testing. Safety features such as an integrated guard and safety control system, motorized hammer lift, and automatic return to start test position are also required.
