Description
This project entails the complete overhaul of pedestrian facilities along Manchester Road (Route 100) from Baxter Road to Highway 141 in Manchester, MO, including the design, fabrication, and installation of a prefabricated steel‑truss pedestrian bridge over Grand Glaize Creek, reconstruction of existing sidewalks, curb‑ramp upgrades to meet ADA standards, pedestrian signal modifications, modular retaining walls, striping, and associated traffic control measures. The City of Manchester will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; a 5 % bid security is required, and a DBE goal of 6 % is set. Bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List and submit a 10‑hour OSHA safety program within 60 days of commencement. No second‑tier subcontracting is permitted.
