Description
The City of Nicholasville’s Electric Department is seeking a qualified tree‑trimming contractor to perform right‑of‑way clearing for its electric distribution lines. The contractor must supply supervision, labor, equipment, traffic control, debris removal, and all incidentals required to safely remove trees and vegetation in utility corridors and roadways throughout the city. The work is a two‑year contract (with up to two one‑year extensions) and must commence within 30 days of a “Proceed” notice. The contractor must comply with applicable safety codes, maintain required insurance, and hold city occupational and business licenses.
