Description
The City of Monroe is seeking bids for the 2025 CDBG: Sanitary Sewer System & Storm Drain Improvements project. The project involves the construction of approximately 2,585 linear feet of 8" DR 17 HDPE sanitary sewer pipe bursting, 11 manhole rehabilitations, 34 new sanitary sewer services for existing structures, and other related work. The project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of the notice to proceed. The bid shall be submitted on Bid Proposal Forms furnished for that purpose, in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Plans and Specifications.

• The project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968 and is a Section 3 Covered Contract.
• Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.
• The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act and all applicable rules and notices.
• Bids shall be submitted with a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Monroe, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid.
• No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids.
