Stop Loss and Dental Health and Welfare Request for Proposal

The Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD) is seeking proposals for the provision of stop loss and dental health and welfare benefits to its employees. The contract will begin on October 1, 2026, and will be for a period of five years, with options to renew. The successful proposer will be required to provide a range of benefits, including stop loss and dental coverage, and will be expected to provide high-quality customer service and claims processing. The proposer will also be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. • The contract will cover 148 active employees and 0 COBRA participants. • The proposer will be required to provide a monthly list bill broken out by class, plan, and employment status. • The proposer will be required to provide a toll-free telephone number on the participant ID cards. • The proposer will be required to provide benefit booklets within 45 days of being awarded the contract. • The proposer will be required to provide an electronic deductible report at no additional cost at contract termination.
