Budget estimate

$100,000 – $200,000

To estimate the budget for this opportunity, we can consider the scope of work and the duration of the contract. The contractor will be responsible for biweekly removal, transport, treatment, and final disposal of all regulated medical waste, including contaminated sharps. The period of performance is for a one-year base period plus four one-year option periods if exercised. Assuming an average cost of $1,000 per biweekly pickup, and 26 pickups per year, the total cost for one year would be $26,000. For a five-year period, including the base year and four option years, the total cost would be approximately $130,000. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget may vary depending on the contractor's pricing and the actual amount of waste generated.
