Description
The project involves installing new building sewer plumbing from residences to the County-installed grinder pump system and making physical connections to the pump. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining required permits and securing approvals from the County's permitting departments. The project is expected to take approximately 150 days to complete, and the total contract amount will be based on actual services performed and quantities of installations and connections completed. The County does not guarantee a minimum or maximum quantity of work under this contract.
• The project is funded by Federal funds from the State Reserve Funds grant as part of the American Rescue Plan Act and by Brunswick County funds.
• The project requires compliance with the DEQ-DWI grant award terms and conditions, the ARPA award terms and conditions, and regulations issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
• The contractor must agree to strictly adhere to all terms and conditions contained in the contract, including the Regulatory Requirements.
• Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $1,000.00 per day for each calendar day beyond the Substantial Completion date.
• The contractor must be properly licensed and comply with 2 C.F.R. § 200.321 to ensure that small businesses, minority businesses, women's business enterprises, veteran-owned businesses, and labor surplus area firms are considered.
