Description
The New Bedford Housing Authority (NBHA) is soliciting proposals for gas pipe inspection services for its owned properties. The contract is intended as a short-term agreement with a duration of less than one year. The NBHA is looking for qualified firms with sufficient experience in performing gas pipeline inspection/assessment and leak detection in accordance with the specifications. The proposal should include the firm's experience, qualifications, and price. The NBHA will award the contract to the firm with the most advantageous proposal from a responsible and responsive proposer, taking into consideration price, which will be negotiated after the evaluation process.
• The RFP package is available from the NBHA, Modernization Office, 128 Union Street, 4TH Floor, New Bedford, Mass. 02740 during regular business hours.
• The deadline for submitting questions concerning this RFP is May 13, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
• Proposals will be received no later than May 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
• The NBHA reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to award a contract that is in the best interest of the New Bedford Housing Authority.
