Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to execute a comprehensive abandoned‑mine reclamation at the Smith Corners site in Clinton Township, Venango County, PA. The work includes extensive earth‑moving, grading, clearing and grubbing, installation of erosion and sediment control measures (rock construction entrances, compost filter socks, weighted sediment filter tubes), subsurface drainage, permanent channel excavation, revegetation (tree planting, grass seeding, mulching), and traffic‑control implementation. The contractor must also manage dewatering impoundments, comply with a detailed NPDES storm‑water permit, and adhere to Davis‑Bacon, Buy‑America, and other federal and state requirements.
• Grading of three areas totaling ~179,285 cubic yards; ripping of 15.2 acres.
• Installation of 4,650 LF of compost filter socks, 145 LF of weighted sediment filter tubes, and 1,990 LF of subsurface drain.
