Description
The City of Lynchburg is seeking a qualified contractor to supply, remove, and install a new Hobart CL66‑BAS+BUILDUP commercial dishwasher and an Eagle Group clean dishtable at E.C. Glass High School. The scope includes complete removal and disposal of the existing dishmachine, verification and possible upgrade of electrical service, all necessary plumbing and electrical connections, procurement of permits, provision of a construction dumpster, and a two‑day turnkey installation to be completed no later than November 27, 2026. The contractor must also provide operator training and ensure compliance with local and state codes.
• Supply one Hobart CL66‑BAS+BUILDUP conveyor dishwasher (incl. accessories)
• Supply one Eagle Group clean dishtable (Model CDTL‑60‑14/3)
• Remove and dispose of existing equipment during Thanksgiving break (Nov 21‑27, 2026)
• Perform all electrical, plumbing, and exhaust‑fan work; obtain permits
• Complete installation within 2 days, finishing by 5:00 PM EST on Nov 27, 2026
• Provide on‑site dumpster or remove debris within 24 hrs of removal
• Offer operator training (tentatively Nov 30, 2026)
• Must attend optional pre‑bid meeting (Sept 8, 2026) and coordinate site visit if needed
