MEPFP Building Commissioning Edelman College

The Rowan University is seeking a qualified Commissioning Agent (CxA) to provide Commissioning (Cx) Services for the Edelman College of Communications, Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) located on their main campus in Glassboro, NJ. The CxA will be responsible for ensuring that the Owner's design intent is achieved through the construction and operation of the facility. The scope of services includes commissioning of various systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, as well as testing and balancing of these systems. The CxA will also be responsible for developing a commissioning plan, reviewing design documents, and conducting site visits to observe construction progress. • The project involves the construction of a new 54,000 square foot building that will house the Edelman College. • The building will feature cutting-edge technology, including Virtual Reality classrooms and Free Roam pods. • The CxA will be responsible for commissioning of various systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. • The project is expected to be completed in 24 months. • The University is seeking a CxA with experience in commissioning similar projects, particularly in the higher education sector.
