Goodloe Apartments Renovation

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to obtain bids from qualified firms to provide Bowie State University with renovation services for the first-floor level of Goodloe Apartments for the Office of Facilities Management. The scope of work includes demolition, carpentry, doors, frames, hardware, mechanical, finishes, signage, electrical, and hazardous materials removal. The project is expected to be completed within 45 calendar days from the notice to proceed. • The contractor will be responsible for removing all existing signs and interfering items, and restoring any damaged surfaces to match the original material. • The contractor will be required to verify wall surfaces and ceiling conditions to receive signage installation and provide recommended mounting attachment. • The contractor will be responsible for any and all existing signage removal and wall surface restoration coordination. • The contractor will be required to obtain final electronic lists of occupants for name panels from the owner and coordinate required information fields, file type, information style, and format directly with the owner.
