RFP – Electromagnet Belt Procurement – McDuffie Coal Terminal

Alabama Port Authority is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, deliver, and warranty four custom‑engineered electromagnet belt separators and four matching DC power supplies for the McDuffie Coal Terminal in Mobile, AL. The equipment must meet specific dimensional, power, and performance criteria, be self‑cleaning, and be accompanied by full design submittals, installation/maintenance manuals, and wiring diagrams. An optional spare‑unit or universal spare‑parts kit must also be offered, with the contractor required to recommend the preferred option. Delivery is FOB to the terminal, with payment upon acceptance and a 24‑month warranty. • Four over‑the‑pulley electromagnet belt separators (72‑in belt width, 18‑in burden depth, 900 ft/min speed) • Four 17 kW DC power supply units (480 VAC input, 230 VDC output) • Optional spare belt unit **or** a universal spare‑parts kit, with recommendation required • Mandatory documentation: design submittals, product data sheets, manuals, wiring diagrams, spare‑parts list • Full‑price, firm‑fixed‑price contract; 100 % payment on delivery & acceptance, Net 30 • Warranty: 24 months (plus 12 months on repaired items) and liquidated damages for late delivery.
