Extreme Leadership Development Program for Government Healthcare Leaders

The County of Orange, Health Care Agency is seeking a provider to deliver an extreme leadership development program for government healthcare leaders. The program aims to strengthen leadership capabilities across all service areas of the Health Care Agency, including Behavioral Health Services, Public Health Services, Specialized Medical Services, Administrative Services, and Correctional Health Services. The provider will support the refinement of the agency's current mission and vision statements, lead agency leaders through a structured process to evaluate the existing organizational culture, and craft a cohesive vision that reflects both strategic priorities and frontline realities. The program will include structured 360° feedback, interactive leadership workshops, hands-on leadership exercises, individual coaching, and leadership application projects. The provider will be expected to bring both subject matter expertise and lived leadership experience. • The program will be delivered in cohorts, with each cohort lasting at least 12 but no more than 16 weeks. • The program will include a combination of in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and applied field exercises. • The provider will be expected to provide instructional materials, support participant projects, and ensure that the program is aligned with the agency's mission and vision. • The program will aim to achieve several goals, including fostering a culture of personal accountability and extreme ownership among leaders, strengthening leaders' ability to communicate clearly and decisively, and improving performance in high-pressure environments. • The provider will be evaluated based on their experience, program alignment, and approach to delivering the program.
