The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified vendors to provide evacuation stair chairs for the Salt Lake City VAMC in Utah. The chairs must meet specific salient characteristics, including a two-piece molded ABS seat, lightweight and rugged aluminum construction, and a maximum load of 500 lbs. • The chairs must have a height of 37.5 inches, width of 20.5 inches, and depth of 28 inches, with a folded depth of 8 inches.
• The chairs must have a positive action locking mechanism, molded hand grips, and locking rear lift handles.
• The estimated lead time and manufacturing location must be provided.
• The company's business size in relation to NAICS 339113 and socio-economic category must be provided.
