Description
The Twiggs County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the construction of a 200,000-gallon elevated water storage tank in the Sgoda Road Service Area. The project includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the tank, as well as yard piping, erosion control, grassing, grading, fencing, electrical, painting of the tank and logo, and any additional appurtenances necessary for a complete and operational tank. The work will be awarded in one contract, and all bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the base bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
• The project is expected to be funded through Local Funds and Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds.
• Davis-Bacon requirements are in place for this contract.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the Contract amount.
• Plans and Contract Documents are on file for review at the Twiggs County Board of Commission Chambers, Twiggs County Courthouse, and the Dodge Plan Room.
• Copies for bidding purposes can be obtained from Ingram & Associates Consulting Engineers, L.L.C. upon payment of $150.00 for each hard copy paper set or $75.00 for each digital set.
