Construction Management Services Restoration of the Ottaway Education Center

The County of Orange is seeking proposals from qualified firms for construction management services for the restoration of the Ruth and Jim Ottaway Education Center. The project involves the reconstruction of the education center, including demolition, construction, and installation of new systems and equipment. The construction manager will be responsible for overseeing the project, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and coordinating with the owner, architect, and other stakeholders. The project is expected to take approximately 180 days to complete. Key responsibilities of the construction manager will include: • Coordinating with the owner and architect to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget • Overseeing the demolition and construction phases of the project • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including safety and health regulations • Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment • Managing the project schedule and budget to ensure successful completion • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues that may impact the project • Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including the owner, architect, and subcontractors • Ensuring that all work is done in accordance with the contract documents and specifications.
