Description
The County of Cole, Missouri, is seeking bids for a 40-ton tilt deck trailer with hydraulic axle side. The trailer must meet certain specifications, including a dual axle, sliding axles, and a tilting deck. The trailer will be used by the Cole County Public Works Department. Bidders must submit their bids in a sealed envelope, and the bid must include all required documents, including the bidder response form, anti-collusion statement, and affidavit for the federal work authorization program.
• The trailer must have a minimum capacity of 80,000 lb and a deck rated at 50,000 lbs in 10 feet.
• The trailer must have a main frame with fabricated 80,000 and 100,000 psi yield steel, 40-inch centers.
• The trailer must have parking stands, Jost two-speed.
• The trailer must have tires, 235/75R17.5 LRJ, and rims, 17.5 X 6.5 tubeless, 4 inside rims steel and 4 outside rims aluminum.
• The trailer must have axles, two 25,000 lb, dual tire with oil bath bearings.
• The trailer must have suspension, Neway RLU228 air ride, 22,500 lb capacity.
• The trailer must have brakes, 12.25x7.5 full air/spring brakes, ABS 4S2M.
• The trailer must have a hitch, 5th wheel king pin, pin setting 21 ¼ inches.
• The trailer must have decking, 1 3/8 Apitong hardwood.
• The trailer must have hydraulic hookups, quick couple, 2500 psi, 20 gpm.
• The trailer must have lights, LED, and meet all DOT standards.
• The trailer must have tie downs, double keyhole chain slots, with stake pockets on 16-inch centers.
• The trailer must have twin upper deck tool boxes, with lockable doors.
• The trailer must have a hydraulic winch, worm gear, 12,000 lb, with spring tension, and 85 feet of ½ inch cable.
• The trailer must have tilt cylinders, two 6”x30”.
• The trailer must have a wireless remote control for winch and loading and unloading hyd functions.
• The trailer must have hot dip galvanizing, trailer frame, and bumper.
• The trailer must have strobe lights, in rear bumper.
• The trailer must have an air dump valve.
