Description
The City of Valdosta is seeking bids for the purchase of five 2025 or newer Chevrolet Tahoe's. The vehicles should meet the minimum specifications outlined in the bid document, including a gasoline eight-cylinder engine, rear-wheel drive, and various interior and exterior features. The city reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
• The vehicles should have a 5.3 L V8 engine and a ten-speed electronic automatic transmission with overdrive.
• The vehicles should have a rear-wheel drive only (4 x 2) and an external engine and transmission oil cooler.
• The vehicles should have a 12-volt electrical system capable of handling police equipment and a 250-amp alternator.
• The vehicles should have various interior and exterior features, including power windows and locks, cruise control, and a rear backup camera.
• The vehicles should have a limited slip rear end with a .323 ratio and a trailer towing package with a Class IV trailer brake installed.
• The vehicles should have a heavy-duty police suspension and exhaust, and a body-side molding if available.
• The vehicles should have a rear backup camera and a front and rear wig-wag installed at the factory.
• The vehicles should have a LLumar high-performance window film with a visible light transmittance of 22% and a total solar energy rejected of 54%.
