Mannix Avenue Public Access Enhancement Plan Design Services

The County of San Luis Obispo is seeking a qualified firm to provide design services for the Mannix Avenue Public Access Enhancement Plan. The scope of work includes preparing design and construction documents for the repair and restoration of the Mannix Avenue Public Access coastal access stairway and landing. The selected firm will be expected to execute a contract with the County for a term of one year. Key aspects of the project include: • Replace the beach access stairway and landing • Repair the concrete paved walkway • Repair the asphalt transition from the street to the pathway • Replace Mannix Public Access signage and protective bollards • Replace the wood bench and provide an accessible landing • Replace the garbage can and install dog waste bag dispenser • Replace the existing storm drain inlet and piping with rip rap • Address ADA deficiencies The County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularity or informality in any proposal or in the Informal RFP process.
