Description
Cameron County is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive solid‑waste collection and disposal services for its parks on South Padre Island. The contract requires the provision, delivery, rental, haul‑away, and disposal of roll‑off 30‑cu‑yd containers as well as smaller 2‑ to 8‑yd containers, including regular inspections, replacement of damaged units, hurricane‑secure tie‑downs, and 24‑hour emergency response. The vendor must handle billing, account management, and comply with all safety, insurance, and regulatory requirements. The award will be based on the lowest total extended price and the contract runs for one fiscal year with up to two one‑year renewal options.
• Provide roll‑off and smaller containers, deliver, rent, haul, and dispose of waste for County parks.
• Perform weekly (or as‑required) pickups, container inspections, hurricane tie‑downs, and emergency 24‑hr service.
• Manage invoicing, account records, safety compliance, insurance, and background checks for all field personnel.
