Consultant Services for the Residential Accessibility Modification Program (RAMP)

The City of West Sacramento is seeking a consultant to provide administration of the Residential Accessibility Modification Program (RAMP), which provides one-time grants to eligible owner-occupied households for accessibility modifications. The consultant will be responsible for managing program operations, developing and maintaining program forms and procedures, maintaining accurate records, and providing regular reporting to City staff. The consultant will also be responsible for marketing the program, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with PLHA guidelines. • The program aims to eliminate physical barriers and improve accessibility through home modifications such as ramps, widened doorways, grab bars, and accessible bathrooms. • The consultant will work with the City to develop a technical project approach and provide a cost proposal for the services. • The contract will be for a term of up to 5 years, with the option for the City to extend the contract for an additional 2 years. • The City is looking for a consultant with experience in housing rehabilitation, accessibility compliance, and grant administration.
