Description
The City of Portland is seeking bids for Cold Mix Asphalt. The successful bidder will provide Cold Mix Asphalt in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions of the ITB. The scope of work includes providing Cold Mix Asphalt for the City of Portland or any other government agency doing business with the City of Portland. The City has a history of striving to be more sustainable in its operations and planning, and the successful bidder will be expected to contribute to the City's sustainability objectives. Key requirements include: the product must be a manufactured product that comes in bulk form, have a minimum storage life of 1 year, and remain workable in adverse weather conditions prior to placement. The bidder must also provide a Certificate of Authenticity and an Environmental Product Declaration, if available.
• The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
• The City prefers goods or services that have been manufactured or produced by a local business if price, fitness, availability, and quality are otherwise equal.
• The successful bidder will be required to execute a Contract with the City within 20 days after the bid award.
• The City's standard payment term is Net 30 days.
• The successful bidder will be required to provide quarterly usage reporting of the City of Portland and that of other public agencies.
