SPS Sterirack Shelving Upgrade - Tray & Soft Goods Storage Area

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide a Sterirack Storage System for the SPS Tray & Soft Goods Storage Area at the West Roxbury campus. The system includes mobile starter bays, mobile add-on bays, wide bays, MediBin panels, MediBins, aisle signs, and various wall shelves. The contractor will be responsible for disassembling and removing the existing storage units, assembling and installing the new system, and relocating trays and supplies into the new system. The contractor must also provide a Quality Control Plan and follow all applicable laws and regulations. Some key points to consider include: • The contractor must provide all necessary supplies, personnel, equipment, and services for the maintenance and repair of the building structures and related systems and equipment. • The contractor must ensure compliance with infection control and VA standards for sterile storage. • The contractor must develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan to ensure that maintenance is performed in accordance with commonly accepted commercial practices. • The contractor must submit to the COR prior to the start of the contract the Safety Data Sheets for all potentially hazardous materials to be used in the facility.
