ROSES25: F.6 Science Activation Program

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate (SMD) is soliciting proposals for the Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) - 2025 program. The program aims to support basic and applied research and technology in space and Earth sciences. Awards will be made as grants, cooperative agreements, or contracts, depending on the nature of the work proposed. The typical period of performance for an award is three years, but some programs may allow up to five years. Proposers must be affiliated with an institution and provide funding only to U.S. institutions. • Proposals are due by March 31, 2026. • A pre-proposal webinar will be held on January 9, 2026. • Notices of intent to propose are requested by January 26, 2026. • Proposals will be evaluated using dual-anonymous review. • The page limit for the central Science/Technical/Management section of the proposal is 18 pages.
