Pre-Solicitation Synopsis: Contract Modification OY3-OY4 Design Agent Engineering Support

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a solicitation to modify a previously awarded contract for Design Agent Engineering support for the SEWIP AN/SLQ-32(V)6 Electronic Warfare (EW) subsystem. The proposed contract modification increases the ceiling on Option Year (OY) 3 and OY 4 Level of Effort (LOE) Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), and Cost-only line items. The work will involve providing continued, uninterrupted Design Agent Engineering for SEWIP Block 2 EW subsystems. • The contract will be awarded on a sole-source basis to Lockheed Martin (LM). • The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B). • Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact LM directly. • The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but all responses received within 15 days after the date of publication of the synopsis will be considered by the Government.
