John’s Creek Box Culvert Replacement

The City of Southaven is seeking bids for the construction of the John’s Creek Box Culvert Replacement project, also known as MDEQ ARPA Project No. 257-2-SW-5.6. The project involves the removal and replacement of the existing box culvert located under Stateline Road, including complete removal and disposal of the existing culvert structure, installation of a new reinforced concrete box culvert, roadway reconstruction, erosion control measures, and all incidental work required to restore the site to its original or improved condition. The total contract time will be 180 consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $500.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. • The project is utilizing Federal assistance and is subject to U.S. Treasury’s regulations governing ARPA. • Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material, and/or supply needs. • The City of Southaven reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any information and irregularities therein, solicit new bids, award the bid to the lowest and best bidder.
