The Shelby County Board of Education seeks a qualified vendor to provide supplemental, on‑site nursing staff (Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses) to its K‑12 schools for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The contractor must recruit, assign, supervise, and manage the nurses, ensuring they hold current Tennessee licenses, CPR/AED certification, and competency in a range of pediatric clinical procedures. Service hours are school‑day based, with overtime billed at 1.5× the fixed hourly rates. The contract is a fixed‑price, non‑exclusive, one‑year agreement (with two optional one‑year renewals) and includes strict insurance, background‑check, and local‑preference requirements.
• Provide PRN RN and LPN staffing across multiple schools, covering medication administration, chronic‑condition care, emergency response, and health‑plan documentation.
• Manage all personnel administration (timesheets, replacements, credential verification) while coordinating with MSCS health services.
• Comply with Tennessee state laws, E‑Verify, badge/ fingerprinting procedures, and maintain required insurance limits (e.g., $1 M CGL, $1 M E&O, $4 M umbrella).
• Rates are fixed at $48/hr for RNs and $36/hr for LPNs; overtime at 1.5×.
• Vendor must have a physical office in Shelby County and meet local‑preference scoring.
