REBID of Pinelands Park Landfill Post Closure Activities

The Atlantic County Utilities Authority is seeking proposals for the post-closure activities of the Pinelands Park Landfill, a closed municipal waste landfill located in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. The selected proposer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and monitoring the landfill in accordance with the "Sanitary Landfill Facility Closure and Contingency Fund Act" and the existing financial closure plan. The scope of work includes post-closure monitoring activities, post-closure operation and maintenance activities, annual inspections, and preparation of a new biennial closure and post-closure financial plan update. Key aspects of the job include: • Post-closure monitoring activities such as final cover monitoring, stormwater control system monitoring, and landfill gas well inspection • Post-closure operation and maintenance activities including routine maintenance and repair of the final cover and final cover vegetation • Annual inspections to address all items outlined in the scope of work • Preparation of a new biennial closure and post-closure financial plan update The proposer should have experience in providing similar services, and their proposal should include a task-by-task breakdown of costs, a description of their qualifications and experience, and a plan for completing the work within the specified timeframe.
