Description
The County is seeking qualified contractors to perform pedestrian‑oriented improvements along Bushy Fork Road between Rozena Place and Lilly Brook Drive. Work includes clearing & grubbing, grading, installing new sidewalks, curb and gutter, storm‑drain pipe, and striping. Quantities are modest, making this a relatively small civil‑construction project suitable for firms with experience in roadway and sidewalk construction.
• 0.455 mi of site preparation, grading, and clearing.
• Installation of 2,177 LF of curb & gutter and 1,884 SY of concrete flat work (sidewalks).
• Placement of approximately 2,000 LF of 15‑inch reinforced concrete pipe for storm‑drainage.
• Required bid bond (5 % of bid) and 100 % performance and payment bonds; bonding firms must hold an A‑8 or higher A.M. Best rating.
• Full design set available for purchase ($50) from Atlas Technical Consultants; no plans are distributed free of charge.
