Description
The City of Doral is seeking a qualified general contractor to design and construct underground infrastructure for up to six License‑Plate‑Reader (LPR) sites. Work includes electrical, structural, and geotechnical design, directional boring of 2‑inch conduit, installation of concrete‑pole‑mounted electrical services, single‑mode fiber‑optic cable, pull‑boxes, sidewalk removal/replacement, and Maintenance‑of‑Traffic provisions. The contract will be a unit‑price, not‑to‑exceed agreement with a base‑bid covering six sites and optional extensions for additional locations. The base contract term is one year with two one‑year renewal options (maximum three years). Bidders must submit electronically via DemandStar, provide a 5 % bid bond, and later furnish 100 % performance and payment bonds. Liquidated damages of $1,584 per day apply for schedule overruns.
