The MBTA is seeking a qualified contractor to fabricate and install approximately 2,500 double‑sided bus‑stop signs across the Commonwealth’s bus network. The work includes producing sign assemblies to detailed MassDOT and FHWA specifications, providing all hardware and foundations, installing the signs within a 12‑month window, and delivering geotagged “as‑built” documentation. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, eligible bidder and requires extensive insurance, prevailing‑wage compliance, and Buy‑America certification.
• Scope: design‑approved sign fabrication (≈2,500 units), site installation, and post‑installation documentation.
