Description
The Newark Board of Education is seeking a vendor to design, fabricate, deliver, and install a range of signage assets for its schools, including digital LED message‑center signs, framed Diabond exterior signs, and assorted custom banners. The contract is a two‑year firm‑fixed‑price agreement (Jan 1 2027 – Dec 31 2028) with the ability to order unlimited quantities at pre‑established unit prices. The vendor must provide graphic‑design services, obtain all required permits, and perform electrical installations using a NJ‑licensed electrician. All work must comply with NEC, FCC, NJ Prevailing‑Wage, OSHA, AHERA, and extensive EEO requirements, and the contractor must carry specified insurance and submit certified payroll.
• Scope – Design, manufacture, delivery, and installation of LED message‑center signs, Diabond framed signs, and a variety of full‑color banners.
• Delivery windows – ≤ 60 business days for LED signs; ≤ 10 business days for Diabond signs and banners after PO issuance.
• Mandatory certifications – NJ Public Works Contractor Registration, prevailing‑wage certifications, insurance, EEO, non‑collusion affidavit, and many other disclosures.
• No bid or performance bond required; award based on lowest‑responsible‑and‑responsive bid.
• Contract period – Two years with a possible 90‑day extension, no pre‑funded ceiling.
