The City of Augusta’s Recreation and Parks Department is seeking qualified manufacturers and installers to replace the existing marquee sign at McDuffie Woods Community Center with a new double‑sided LED‑illuminated sign and a Daktronics GT6X full‑color LED display. The work includes removal and disposal of the old sign cabinet, fabrication of a new 7’2” × 11’1” sign cabinet, provision of 3‑ft tall plexiglass signage, installation of a 4’4” × 2’11” LED display (108 × 324 matrix), site survey, permitting, and a warranty. The contractor must use the existing pole foundation, provide cellular communication for the sign’s life, and deliver training for staff. Bids must be submitted in hard copy and on a USB drive by Dec 1, 2026. An optional pre‑bid conference (Nov 9) and a mandatory site visit (Nov 10) are scheduled.
