The City of Augusta’s Recreation and Parks Department is seeking qualified manufacturers and installers to replace the existing marquee at the Henry H. Brigham Community Center with a new double‑sided LED‑illuminated sign and a Daktronics (or equivalent) full‑color LED display. The scope includes removal of the old sign cabinet, fabrication and installation of a new sign cabinet (approx. 7′‑2″ × 11′‑1″), provision of 3‑ft tall Plexiglass signage, installation of a 4′‑4″ × 2′‑11″ LED display (108 × 324 matrix), cellular communication for the sign’s life, and required training. Bidders must attend an optional pre‑bid conference (Nov 9) and a mandatory site visit (Nov 10). All bids are due Dec 1, 2026. • Remove and dispose of existing sign cabinet; reuse existing pole/foundation. • Manufacture and install a new double‑sided, internally illuminated sign cabinet (≈ 7′‑2″ × 11′‑1″). • Provide three‑foot tall Plexiglass sign faces with “Henry H. Brigham Community Center” wording. • Supply and install a Daktronics GT6X (or approved equivalent) full‑color LED display (≈ 4′‑4″ × 2′‑11″). • Include cellular communication service for the sign’s lifespan and provide vendor‑led training. • Submit detailed design drawings, obtain permits, and provide warranty terms. • Offer a detailed manufacturing and installation schedule and cost breakdown.
