The City of Columbus is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive catalog of electrical fixtures, parts, and related supplies on an “as‑needed” basis for a two‑year term, with up to three one‑year extensions. The vendor must maintain at least 80 % of the listed items in stock, be able to fulfill immediate walk‑in orders, and operate from a location within Muscogee County, GA. All freight and handling costs must be included in the unit prices, and the City will pay on net‑30 terms after receipt of a proper invoice. The contract is awarded to the lowest‑priced compliant bidder; extensive insurance coverage and possible bid bond requirements apply.
• Supplies include ground rods, portable cords, conduit (flexible, liquid‑tight, rigid), conduit fittings, pull‑boxes, busbars, fuses, HID/fluorescent ballasts, LED lamps, switches, receptacles, PVC pipe & fittings, and related hardware.
• Vendor must provide a detailed pricing spreadsheet for over 480 line items, keep a high‑stock inventory, and meet rigorous insurance limits (multiple $1‑$2 M coverages).
• Initial contract term is 2 years, renewable annually up to a total of 5 years, with a 5 % price‑increase clause after the first term.
