Description
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education is soliciting qualification statements from experienced Architectural/Engineering firms to provide Design services for CMS facility demolition and upfit/renovation projects. The scope of the Design services includes Civil, Architectural, and MEP disciplines for demolition and upfit/renovation projects. The projects include the demolition of Smith Family Center and the upfit/renovation of the Old Dorothy J. Vaughan Academy of Technology.
• The RFQ can be downloaded from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Auxiliary Services website.
• A virtual pre-proposal conference will be held on May 11, 2026.
• The response is due to CMS Auxiliary Services by June 2, 2026.
• CMS reserves the right to select, re-advertise, and/or reject any proposal for any reason.
