Description
The Brunswick-Glynn Joint Water and Sewer Commission is seeking a Design/Build entity to provide progressive design-build services for the PS3103 and PS4119 Expansion and Force Main project. The project involves the rehabilitation of two sewer pumping stations and the installation of new force mains. The selected Design/Builder will provide design, preconstruction, permitting, and construction services in a collaborative, phased approach. The project is expected to be completed in two phases, with Phase One consisting of preliminary services and Phase Two consisting of final design and construction.
• Key components of the project include:
• Pump station rehabilitation design and construction
• Installation of force main improvements
• Examination of existing electrical systems
• Integration of new equipment into existing VTScada application
• Bypass pumping as necessary
• Permitting coordination with Georgia Department of Transportation and Glynn County
The Owner's objectives for the project include maintaining existing operations during construction, achieving the agreed scheduled completion date, providing high-quality components, minimizing life-cycle cost, and implementing an effective safety program.
