Provision of Firefighter Turnout Gear

Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is seeking a vendor to supply a full line of firefighter turnout gear—including protective coats and pants that meet current NFPA, ASTM, and other safety standards—for an annual contract with up to four optional one‑year renewals. The contract requires custom fit services, provision of nine sample sets for wear‑testing, traceability labeling, on‑call technical assistance, and strict insurance coverage. Vendors must submit a technical and cost proposal, references, and required affidavits, and must be able to maintain firm pricing for at least 12 months. • Provide 327 protective coats and 327 protective pants (plus associated accessories) meeting NFPA 1970, 1500, 1851, ASTM D 6193‑97, and NFPA 2500 standards. • Deliver nine size‑specific sample sets at no cost for wear‑testing, and support a fitting program for all county firefighters. • Maintain comprehensive insurance (CGL $2 M, auto $1 M, workers’ comp $500 K, umbrella, cyber, etc.) and complete required non‑collusion, ethics, and E‑Verify affidavits.
