Paving and Street Rehab FY26

The City of Montpelier, Vermont is seeking bids for the bituminous concrete paving of municipal streets. The project includes cold planing and paving of various streets, as well as the construction of monolithic bituminous asphalt curbs. The city will be responsible for the elevation adjustment of catch basins, manholes, and valves. The contractor will be required to submit a schedule of proposed work and obtain approval from the city prior to beginning construction. The project must be completed by October 17th, 2025. • The project includes work on multiple streets, including Chestnut Hill Rd, Dewey St, Dwinell St, Hubbard St, Sibley Ave, 1st Ave, Coolidge St, Frank St, George St, Highland Ave, and Wilson St. • The contractor will be required to cold plane and pave the existing pavement to an average depth of 1.5" and apply a 1.5" wear course of Type III. • The contractor will be responsible for the construction of monolithic bituminous asphalt curbs as needed. • The city will be responsible for the elevation adjustment of catch basins, manholes, and valves. • The contractor will be required to submit a schedule of proposed work and obtain approval from the city prior to beginning construction.
