International Monitoring System (IMS) Radionuclide Operations and Maintenance

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is seeking a performer to operate and sustain the US International Monitoring System (IMS) radionuclide monitoring stations. The performer will be responsible for operating, maintaining, upgrading, and sustaining radionuclide particulate and noble gas monitoring systems, as well as providing logistical support and sustainment for each US IMS station infrastructure and installed monitoring system. The performer will also be required to perform preventive and unscheduled corrective maintenance, calibrations, and tuning as necessary to ensure stations meet operational data quality requirements. Some key responsibilities include: • Operating and maintaining radionuclide particulate and noble gas monitoring systems • Providing logistical support and sustainment for each US IMS station • Performing preventive and unscheduled corrective maintenance • Conducting calibrations and tuning as necessary • Supporting the Provisional Technical Secretariat (PTS) and International Data Centre (IDC) as required The performer will be expected to operate and maintain the US IMS stations in accordance with provisional operational guidance defined by the PTS, and to ensure that the stations meet the operational requirement of 95% authenticated data availability that meets CTBT data quality parameters.
