Description
The United States Marine Corps is seeking to purchase UTV tracks and installation kits. The tracks must be compatible with side-by-side UTV platforms and support a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating of approximately 4,200 lbs or greater. The system shall include four independent track assemblies, vehicle-specific mounting/installation hardware, and suspension linkage components. The tracks must provide enhanced traction and flotation for operation in deep snow, mud, sand, and other soft or unstable terrain.
• The system must be designed for heavy-duty utility use and capable of supporting work operations including utility transport, search and rescue, snow operations, and off-road mobility in remote terrain.
• The system must be compatible with a 2021 Polaris Ranger Crew XP1000 during the winter season.
• The system must include an integrated suspension system designed to improve ride quality and maintain ground contact.
• The system must include an adjustable track tension or suspension configuration and a self-cleaning track design to shed debris.
• The system must provide anti-torque linkage to prevent track rotation relative to the vehicle.
