The U.S. Navy NAVSUP WSS is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a 2½‑inch ball valve assembly (Flood LE) that will be used in a critical shipboard system. The valve is designated as Special Emphasis Material (Level I) and must meet a long list of material, testing, and certification requirements, including specific ASTM, SAE, and MIL‑STD specifications, ultrasonic inspection, pressure testing, radiography, and Teflon coating. The contractor must hold a Confidential (or higher) security clearance, provide a Certificate of Compliance, and maintain an ISO‑9001 (or equivalent) quality system. Delivery is FOB‑destination, and the contract will be awarded bilaterally after written acceptance. • 2½‑inch ball valve assembly (drawing 7286740, 8617511, etc.) • Materials: ASTM‑B369 (Alloy C96400), QQ‑N‑286, SAE‑AMS‑6931, 6Al‑4V, MD71‑GG (graphite‑filled urethane) • Required testing: ultrasonic, weldability, pressure, hydrostatic, radiography, non‑destructive, surface‑waviness, etc. • Certifications: material certifications, test reports, quality‑system compliance, DPAS priority rating • Security: Confidential clearance required to access classified annexes • Delivery: FOB‑destination, one‑year warranty from delivery • Contractor must submit all required documentation via the Electronic Contractor Data Submission (ECDS) system.
