Description
The Rabun County Government is seeking a contractor to provide vegetation removal services. The contractor will be required to perform prep work, removal, installation, and cleanup for vegetation removal services defined in the contract. The majority of the work will occur on the county road system. The contractor shall supply labor, equipment, tools, means of transportation, traffic control, and incidentals to perform work in accordance with specifications and ensure a safe work environment for employees and the traveling public.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Random clearing and side trimming of trees and vegetation
• Debris and litter removal
• Traffic control and utility conflicts
• Compliance with Georgia Department of Transportation standard specifications and supplemental specifications
• Performance and payment bonds will be required
• A pre-bid meeting will be held on June 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM, which is mandatory for all bidders.
