Description
The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking a qualified contractor to perform asbestos abatement services for Building 8 located at 500 Balltown Road, Schenectady, NY 12304. The scope of work includes asbestos abatement, disposal of asbestos-containing materials, and site cleanup. The contractor must have experience in related work and provide references. The project must be completed within 60 working days of contract approval. The contractor will be required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing the performance of asbestos abatement.
• The contractor must have an asbestos license that is up to date.
• The contractor must follow New York Code Rule 56 for asbestos work.
• The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and maintain insurance during the contract period.
• The contractor must comply with prevailing wage requirements.
• The contractor must provide a copy of their certified payroll with invoices.
