Construction and/or Renovation to Buildings, Additions, or Structures

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity is offering a grant opportunity for capital improvements to a facility located at 3918 West Roosevelt Road in Chicago. The goal of this program is to improve the quality of life of Illinoisans. The grant will fund costs associated with capital and/or infrastructure improvements to the facility. The successful grantee will be required to report on the expenditure of funds and the specific improvements rendered as a result of this funding. • The grant is limited to bondable capital expenditures as described in the Build Illinois Bond Act. • The grant does not include a cost sharing or match requirement. • Indirect Costs, general operation overhead, and administrative expenses are not allowed for coverage by bond funds. • The grantee must comply with the Business Enterprise Program for Minorities, Females, and Persons with Disabilities Act. • The grantee must comply with the Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Works Jobs Program Act.
