BLS/ALS Pharmaceuticals, Supplies, and Distribution

The City of Tucson Fire Department is seeking a contractor to provide basic and advanced life support pharmaceuticals and supplies, as well as VendNovation brand vending machines, smart lockers, and corresponding software. The contractor will be responsible for delivering products to a centralized location, maintaining inventory control, and providing technical support for the VendNovation software. The contract will be for a period of time to be determined, with the option for renewal. The city is looking for a contractor that can provide high-quality products and services, and that can integrate with the city's existing systems. Some key requirements include: • Providing product details in invoices, including specific product name, quantity, concentration, identification numbers, lot number, unit of measure, and expiration date • Maintaining continuity of operations and providing Operative IQ, an electronic inventory management software system • Providing medication distribution and inventory management down to the individual unit of measure • Notifying the city of product recalls and providing alternative solutions within 72 hours • Delivering orders within 48 hours of placement, with emergency same-day delivery available • Maintaining continuous temperature monitoring during storage and transport • Using tamper-evident packaging and not relabeling or repackaging products without disclosure.
