Description
The University of North Texas System (UNTS) is establishing a multi‑year Job Order Contract (JOC) for asbestos abatement and associated mold remediation across all UNTS‑owned campuses. The contract will use RS Means unit pricing with contractor‑submitted coefficients and includes strict compliance with Texas licensing, EPA, OSHA, and related regulations. The total ceiling is $7 M, with a $1 M limit per individual job order and an annual spend cap of $1.75 M. The base period runs 36 months from October 1 2026, with two optional one‑year extensions. Qualified contractors must hold TDLR asbestos licenses, provide substantial crew resources, and meet HUB/subcontracting goals.
